I also thought that this book was really different because of the format it isn’t verse but it isn’t just regular either its more of an interview in a book telling the story.
There was also a boy named Ronnie that is mean to the D squad. Told as interviews with key players, the story of four kids using a machne machine during their fifth-grade year is revealed.

Brendon reminds me of that because one time he got everyone in the nation to wear red socks to school. Gutman is a talented writer thf dozens of children’s books to his credit, and his latest is a funny and thought-provoking tale that should appeal equally to boys and girls.
